Self-esteem, lose weight, and mental health
Some people said in order to improve self-esteem, one needs to lose weight, to diet. Others said it’s a mental health problem. My question is: Are those things really related?
Donna Sears
Self-esteem has to do with may things, and lose weight is one of them, but mental health is different, which needs to see doctor.
Paul Parker
A young man said he's from a family where most members suffered a lot, so he can't do many things and feel hopeless is also kind of normal, which shows the low self-esteem.
Steve Spencer
Low-self-esteem could be anything, such as not making enough money, living in a bad place, staying single for a long time, getting fat, feeling lazy, so it's a healthy issue, also mental issue, the best way is seeking professional help.
Andrew Christy
Self-esteem has to do with family background, because many people coming from poor families do have low self-esteem, and they feel can't do something they usually say they come from family most members never have done something like that, so they make excuse for themselves, instead of trying hard.
Howard Fisher
Those things are somehow related, but still needs to let specialist to take care of them.
Ann Hanson
Weight problem let many girls feel bad, so it may related to self-esteem and mental health.
