A girl said she quit her job and becomes a jewelry designer. Her learning curve takes her long time before understanding her business because her first designs were boring, uncool, but learned a lot and determined to make it happen.
Encourage & Discourage: If you want to follow your parents’ footsteps, but your parents not encourage nor discourage your idea; or you like design, fashion, but they say you’re very young, what you could do? You may start your business even though your parents may say: We’ll see what happens.

Interesting post. Parents sometimes could be difficult to deal with because they want their children to be better than they, but they also like their own stuff, so if their children follow their footsteps they might say, OK, not problem, which is funny.
A girl said she has been promoted to a leadership position in the company, but her family business is a wonder because it attracts return guests, has gracious bed-and-breakfast service, antiques, balcony, fountain, ghosts, and becomes a local landmark; so she’s not sure if resign her job, going back to her family business.

It seems a very difficult decision the girl needs to make because her leadership position in the company also means a big achievement but her family business has its tradition, with even more potential.
My coworker said she was a feisty person: she worked hard, demanded respect, promotion, equal right, but she paid price. Since she learned something in life, she said her suffering makes her a smart person.

Many people said they learned something from the workplace because to be an activist is one thing, but demand equal right in workplace could be tricky and could also suffer.
My friend can turn something normal into a funny, inspirational one; she called her works crazy because she always tried to make a bad taste into a good one, a girl's thing a feminism, a product green life, which let her have endless crazy ideas and want to try new things.
