Being acceptable, intuition and following your feelings?
A guy said he and his friend went to eat seafood, when he saw his girlfriend open oysters and immediately shucked them and said to him that the oysters were too fresh.
As she said that, he saw others also swallow the fresh oysters in one gulp. One friend shucked oyster, picked up another one and told everyone that the oysters were fresh, so he swallowed the oyster in one gulp again.
When the guy’s girlfriend opened another oyster and saw the fresh seafood, she swallowed it in one gulp again. At this time the guy opened an oyster, he saw that there seemed to be maggots next to the seafood, but he didn't think much and swallowed it in one gulp.
Afterwards, the guy felt a little stomachache, so he told his girlfriend that he probably swallowed a few maggots. His girlfriend heard that he had swallowed the worms, and asked him, did he really swallow the maggots? The guy nodded.
Then his girlfriend said, if he really swallowed the maggots, what should he do if those maggots have baby? What if those maggots multiply in his belly and turn into dozens of maggots? So his girlfriend blamed him for swallowing the maggots after seeing them.
At this time, the guy said that when he saw everyone swallowing seafood, if he didn't do this, it would make people feel uncomfortable. So even though he seemed to see maggots, he didn't think much and swallowed them all. At this time, his girlfriend blamed him for being too reckless, only caring about being acceptable, and following his feelings, but now he must worry about the consequences of eating seafood.
So the guy said that it was also because he relied too much on intuition in doing things now, but his girlfriend still blamed him. She said that since he now, likes her, likes to follow his feelings, and rely on intuition to do things, which is good, but he can't be brainless, could it be that he saw maggots and didn't know that eating them into his stomach would cause harm to the human body?
So the guy said to his girlfriend, since after they reconciled, he always thought that he should act decisively and follow his feelings, but he didn't expect that something would go wrong this time.

Interesting story.
Steve Spencer
Agree, it's interesting!
Katie Roberts
Follow your feeling but sometimes it hit the wall.
Jan Goodman
Follow your feeling is common, specially for women, but sometimes it not works, so people need to use their brain also.
Paul Parker
Most people follow their feeling, but sometimes they regret.
Liz Lewis
It's funny, but also let people think about many things again such as following your feelings, intuition and being acceptable, because they could also not work well.
Dana Foyle
My friend said she always follows her feelings, once she went to check if it was true about her guy's flirting in bar and she realized her feelings and intuition served her well.
Edith Campbell
Like the story. The guy wanted to be acceptable, so when he saw others swallow seafood, he did the same thing, but he got problem, which is very funny.

Following your feeling is great, but not always works.
Meg Cox
Follow your feeling and act decisively still has its huge fans.
