My friend thinks food choices can affect quality of physical, mental health and sleep. She eats cheese, which can reduce stress, cherries, which can boost melatonin, and bananas and almonds, that can support sleep. She usually eats an evening meal two hours before bed, to avoid indigestion. She also eats omega-3 foods such as fish, walnuts, which are good for better sleep, and avoid eating fatty and spicy foods, that can cause heartburn and indigestion.
